| Beginning Jan 2003,
Dassault Systèmes announced the formation of a comprehensive
Global Education Program for PLM initially
consisting of two components, the Education Partner Program and the
CATIA Certified Professional Program. Since then, the education
program has been expanded to include the following components:

CATIA Certified Professional Program
The CATIA Certified Professional Program may be completed by any PLM user and is a
globally valid indication of a user's PLM knowledge and skill. Successful applicants
receive a Certified Professional Certificate which they may advertise and display.
The program is administered through a series of exams which assess an individuals
technical knowledge and skill of Dassault Systèmes PLM solutions. Certification
exams may be taken at one of over 3500 testing centers world-wide.
The CATIA Certified Professional Program consists of three levels of expertise per
application: Specialist, Expert, and Master. Different tracks across these levels
correspond to career needs and to CATIA products. Currently, exams cover 3 tracks: Part
Design, Assembly Design and Surface Design. Within each track, two levels of certification
are provided: Specialist and Expert. To acquire a Master level, one must first obtain
the Expert level in all 3 tracks, and pass a live proficiency test.

SmarTeam Certified Professional Program
The SmarTeam Certified Professional Program is a new program and is currently only
offered to Education Program Partners. This certification is a globally valid
indication of a user's specific PLM knowledge and skill. Successful applicants
receive a Certified Professional Certificate which they may advertise and display.
The program is administered through a series of exams which assess an individuals
technical knowledge and skill of Dassault Systèmes PLM solutions. Certification
exams may be taken at one of over 3500 testing centers world-wide.
The SmarTeam Certified Professional Program currently supports one level of expertise. The
'SmarTeam Application Engineer Specialist' exam will be complemented by other exams
to be released later this year.

Certified Instructor Program
The goal of the Certified Instructor Program is to have education partners recognized
as the best PLM instructors in the world. The program demonstrates a high standard of
technical knowledge, instructional preparedness, and facilitation in the delivery
of Dassault Systèmes PLM Education offerings.
Aventec's instructors have passed the demanding certification tests set out by Dassault
Systèmes and have the required high standards of technical knowledge and industry
experience.

Education Partner Program (EP)
A Dassault Systèmes Education Partner (EP) is an authorized company who
has access to the Official Dassault Systems Courses (ODSC) for delivery
of training as part of a customer solution or provided as public training courses.
EPs may provide standard Dassault Systèmes courses or specially customized
courses or a combination of both. EPs are not held to the same standard as CEPs.

Certified Education Partner Program (CEP)
A Dassault Systèmes Certified Education Partner (CEP) is the premier training
channel authorized to design, customize and deliver Official Dassault Systèmes
Courses (ODSC) to PLM professionals. The Certified Education Partner company
meets or exceeds special requirements that guarantee the proper hardware,
qualified instructors, and training environment for Official Dassault Systèmes
Courses being offered to its customers. The CEP label is a guarantee that a partner's personnel is composed of "Certified
Instructors".
